A common source of frustration for women and their physicians is pelvic pain. It can be difficult to accurately diagnose and often does not respond to treatment. Our obstetrician/gynecologists work with family practice doctors and internists for patients who need specialized care for pelvic pain and abnormal bleeding.

When conservative measures and medical treatment, including counseling on lifestyle changes, fail to resolve chronic pelvic pain or improve abnormal bleeding, surgery may be advised.
