Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a safe, painless and noninvasive test that is performed routinely during pregnancy. It can be used in the first trimester to confim a pregnancy, age and its location. It can be used to evaluate the fetal anatomy and any abnormalities as well as the placental location. Ultrasound is also used to follow the baby's growth rate and perform third trimester testing.
